We had a fantastic stay at Mergellina. the staff, especially Amelia at reception, were so kind, helpful, and always had great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. the breakfast staff were lovely and friendly, and the rooms were nicely decorated with a stylish touch. Despite being on a busy road, the double glazing and outside shutters kept the noise to a minimum, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. the hotel is conveniently located near the American consulate and the waterfront, making it easy to explore the area. We felt safe and secure, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even lending us a spare laptop when we needed it. Mergellina exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property. 👍.

The rooms at Hotel Mergellina are absolutely fantastic! They are so cozy and comfortable, with the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler like me. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom was super clean and modern.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the view from the room. It wasn't the greatest, but hey, not everyone is here for the view, right?

Had a fantastic stay during New Year's Eve. the rooms were decorated beautifully and staff were very helpful. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, as it was close to many key attractions and the area felt very safe. the continental breakfast was also a great way to start the day, and the air conditioning made the room very comfortable to relax in after a long day of sightseeing.
That there was no kettle in the room. there were fireworks during the night that were quite loud and woke us up a few times.
